1988
Cuballing Farmer Phil Whitford establishes Whitford Fertilisers.
1995
Facilities for storage and dispatch of fertilisers were purchased at Kwinana.
2004
Building commenced on new storage facilities directly behind the existing shed, bringing the total granular storage capacity up to 80,000 tonnes.
2005 – 2007
Facilities upgrade as additional blending, weighing and screening equipment installed.
2007
Whitford Fertilisers commenced trading as Whitfert Pty Ltd. During the year the two storage facilities were linked by a roof, further increasing storage capacity and allowing for greater operational flexibility.
2010
Major upgrade to dispatch facilities on weighbridge 2 was completed
2014
Whitfert Pty Ltd changed its trading name to Whitfert (ABN 490 587 94 737).
2020
Whitfert’s online customer portal – Whitview was launched. This allows customers to oversee all of their current and past orders and transactions, as well as downloading invoices and loading dockets. In Whitview, customers can also order bulka-bag fertilizer online and then collect at the depot at a date and time that suits them.
2022
New blending plant becomes fully operational. This includes a new highly durable self-cleaning screen, new blend auger, new hoppers with in-built conditioners and an improved programable logistic control.
